I'm backk..

I said goodbye to substitute teaching and hello to the real world. It all happened in about three weeks total. It's amazing how you think you're doomed to teach kids who don't respect you for months and months, if not maybe a year and then all of a sudden you have a job. A job that I like actually. I've moved to Dallas and have a spacious bedroom...well Lo and J.D.'s couch in their apartment. When they're not home I pretend that I have a studio apartment to myself..it gets awkward when they come home and I'm painting over their stuff..no no I'm kidding. But talk about living out of a suitcase..

Starting at the end of April I started traveling on the weekends. It's almost as if this is a lifestyle that I've chosen. I was literally in Houston, then Kerrville, then Houston, then Kerrville, then Dallas, back to Houston, then Kerrville, then Dallas, to Kauai (amazing) and then Dallas..I mean right, this is kind of tiring and a LOT of gas money. Luckily I've had travel buddies the majority of the time. Too bad I'm not traveling to Colorado or New York or Hawaii every weekend. I guess I'll take what I can get though. 

I went to Kauai, did you catch that? That's right I did..I'm in love with the island. I'll have pictures and great stories to share with you soon. I have met great people in the past month. I've just been so blessed the opportunity to meet new friends. Here's to Spring and more blogging. I promise I'm back..
